Role Overview:
As the Senior Loan Officer / Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving loan origination, managing a team of loan officers, and contributing to the overall success of our Ohio operations. Your expertise in mortgage lending and your ability to lead and mentor a team will be instrumental in achieving our growth targets and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
● Leadateamof skilled loan officers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive individual and team success.
● Originate mortgage loans and assist team members in navigating the loan origination process, from application to closing.
● Develop and implement strategic initiatives to achieve loan production targets, revenue goals, and market expansion.
● Build and nurture relationships with clients, real estate professionals, and industry contacts to generate leads and referrals.
● Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective sales strategies.
● Ensure compliance with industry regulations, underwriting guidelines, and company policies.
● Collaborate with corporate leadership to align team goals with company-wide objectives.
● Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand professional networks.
● Assist with upkeep of office.
● Assisting with misc duties to help the Leadership team.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
● Minimumof 5years of successful experience in mortgage loan origination, with a demonstrated track record in a leadership or team management role.
● Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license and other relevant industry certifications.
● Profound understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
● Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with an emphasis on relationship-building.
● Analytical mindset with the capability to make data-driven decisions to support business growth.
● Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
